MERRY PANCAKE DAY EVERYONE! ~ 

ワ足しの 愛ワぱんけき〜 ♡

Watashi no ai WA pankeki.

Roughly translates as I LOVE Pancakes! Pancakes would be the love of my life. Pancakes are my valentine. The best park of pancake day this year is that it is 2 days away from valentines day so I can buy holiday law use my heart shaped cookie cutters, pink food colouring, sprinkles and strawberries to make the perfect Kawaii Crêpe~

Being a patriotic Wasian {Wanna-be Asian} obivously Japanese pancakes cross my mind, As all things Japanese are crazy to the normal Westernised world we live in, I wanted to share some Japanese culture with you all…

First of all Japan are in love with Paris… So much so that when you are stylishly sweating it out on the Parisian Metro Train all the Stations are translated into Japanese before it is English. Japanese Tourists flock in there Thousands to Paris every year because of the use of scenery and idealistic relaxed lifestyle that is advertised with products of Japan! Parisians like the Japanese more than use because they get more money from them and the Japanese like the Parisians more than us because they are fashionable, have amazing foods {LIKE PANCAKES} and better pastries like Laduree. They also have countless Crêpe huts and stalls with 2kg tubs of nutella to smother them in through-out Paris so Pancakes are all year round, not just for Shrove Tuesday. 

So Japan decided to bring the lovely French Crêpe’s to there home and put their own twist on it For the ultimate Japanese crepe experience I would love to visit Takeshita Dori in the Tokyo district of Harajuku, where, along with any amazing array of plastic replica crepes, you will find a flavour list as wacky and varied as the outfits on show. Popular fillings include: pizza sauce, cheese, tuna and salad; teriyaki chicken and salad; curry; cheese cake, cream, ice cream and sauce; fruit, custard and cream or green tea cream and adzuki beans. 

Amazing. I dont know if curry pancakes are on the menu for me tonight but there is some cool new japanese inspiration coming in mind for my toppings! So will you be playing it safe with Syrup and sugar? Or will you be mixing it up with wasabi and horse meat?~
